Itinerary
Name: Whisky, Coasts and Wildlife
Short Description: We depart Inverness and head straight for a stroll along the sands at the peaceful village of Findhorn. Next up is Bow Fiddle Rock, a jagged sea arch punching out of the waves near Portknockie. The village-hopping continues to Cullen, where you’ll have plenty time to try the legendary Cullen Skink and explore this idyllic Highland fishing village. The afternoon takes you to the cliff-top trails of RSPB’s Troup Head Nature Reserve. It’s buzzing with seabirds like gannets and razorbills – and if you’re lucky, you may even spot elusive marine life too*! Then it’s inland on the Malt Whisky Trail to learn all about whisky at a Speyside whisky distillery, where tasting is the best way to learn! Rounding out our day is a visit to the small village of Carrbridge, home of the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands. Our tour returns to Inverness in time for dinner and perhaps another dram or two. Please note: wildlife encounters cannot be guaranteed
